Cattle Empire LLC is one of the largest family owned commercial cattle feeding operations in the United States. We have 140,000 head capacity in three different feedlots which are all within 20 miles of each other. Our feedlots sit in the Heart of the Beef Feeding Empire with all four major packers within 50 miles. Cattle Empire has developed a tradition of honesty, hard work and performance, which can only be found in a family business.

Paul Brown started that tradition in 1978 and now it is carried on by his son Roy Brown.  Paul currently acts as Chairman of the Board of the company and oversees the various construction projects at the feed yards.

Roy Brown is the CEO and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company.  If you have any questions or problems in your dealings with Cattle Empire LLC, Roy is the one to contact.

Ron Shortridge is our CFO and is responsible for reporting the accuracy of financial and tax records.  Ron oversees bank relations and customer finance as well as overseeing financial strategies regarding purchasing and hedging.  Ron is also in charge of analyzing our subsidiary investments.
